Rather than treating spirituality and health as separate domains, the workshop positions them as interconnected life principles, examining notions of personhood as indicators of individual and community well-being from interreligious and intercultural perspectives. Participants will engage in practical spiritual exercises, including meditation, conscious breathing, prayer, and movement, bridging theoretical understanding with experiential practice. Summer Book Study
Tuesdays, June 3 to July 8, 7:30 pm via Zoom
"The Anxious Generation" by Jonathan Haidt examines the sharp decline in adolescent mental health in the early 2010s, linking it to the shift from a "play-based" to a "phone-based" childhood. Haidt argues that smartphones and social media have rewired childhood development, causing significant psychological harm to Generation Z. This book highlights how technology has disrupted children's social and neurological growth, resulting in increased rates of depression, anxiety, self-harm, and suicide. Haidt not only identifies the issue but also suggests four key reforms and actionable steps for parents, educators, tech companies, and governments to promote healthier childhoods and address the mental health crisis.

Scripture Studies
Women’s Bible Study
The Bible study meets on Mondays from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in Mulhern Hall. The spring session starts on Monday, January 27, 2025. The group will read 'WORD The Son Reveals the Father, An 11-Session Study of Matthew' in this session. Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA)
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, better known as RCIA, is a program for adults to be received into the Catholic Church through the Sacraments of Initiations. We also include with our RCIA program the opportunity for adult Catholics to prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. The program begins with an inquiry phase that allows one to learn more about the faith before discerning whether to move forward with receiving the sacraments. Little Ways Playgroup
Inspired by the meditations of Saint Thérèse de Lisieux, Little Ways seeks to bring together mothers and their children in a community of faith formation and encouragement. In spite of the many competing demands on our time, Saint Thérèse reminds us that often the ways in which we can best serve the Lord are those which seem the most small. This group seeks to bring together mothers who are serving the Lord in what is perhaps our lives’ most important ministry, that of raising our children.
